Artist's Statement:

My recent works have been formed on Japanese traditional Washi papers with somewhat large thickness and roughness. I use many molding materials, such as plaster, sand, paste, glue and so forth, to make some texture on the papers. I also use some metallic paints and acrylic colors on the materials. I always think that my work is not whole thing of the world but a part of the world that I want to post to the viewers. Some parts of my artwork have not been presented in the paper, hidden in the outside of the frame. I hope that my dear viewers can taste the space that I show them in and out of the paper
